Learn to Salsa dance with Edie, The Salsa FREAK!!

SNAP OUT OF IT!
When dance or life partners upset us, THIS IS A NORMAL FACT OF LIFE.

When something goes wrong, don’t look at your dance partner with that “evil eye” – yes I’m talking about YOU.
Instead, see what lesson there is for you to learn from the experience, brush yourself off and MOVE ON.
The people that disappoint us most in life are truly our Spiritual Teachers in disguise. Remember, it’s now WHAT happens to that matters, it is HOW YOU HANDLED IT that people will REMEMBER.

“People blame circumstances for where they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who succeed in this world are the people who go out and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.”
George Bernard Shaw

… the above quotes are what God has shown those reading this article to live by. NOW OWN THEM. MEMORIZE THEM, AND NEVER FORGET THEM.

Take those quotes above to heart… and as a result, HE will grant you the DESIRES of your HEART. Psalm 37:4

When you start feeling sorry for yourself, and can’t stop complaining and moaning about others,
… somebody needs to dunk your head in a bucket of ice water!

Remember people (especially dance partners and significant others) will ALWAYS let you down.

Edie’s Advice to ALL Complainers in Life:
Lower, if not “zero-out” your expectations, and you’ll never be disappointed.

Read Genesis 6:6. God was so disappointed in the human race.
He was even pissed off at Moses and David!
God has basically turned His back on the Jews for the past 2000 years.
Humans just kept (and keep on) messing everything up for themselves.

What if everything we owned burned in a fire, and we had to start all over again? All our stuff, Salsa clothes, Salsa pictures, Dance Shoes, favorite DVDs … everything … gone.
… Then, we “woke up” – and realized it was just a dream?

Sometimes we forget to be happy with what we have.
I get caught up in “want” from watching too much TV and reading too many magazines. I am learning slowly to want for nothing, and not try to “keep up with the Jones’.* It’s easier (and cheaper) that way.

Hang around people who can’t walk, can’t dance, are deaf, or blind, or starving.

Keep the Faith strong in your heart.
When things get tough, always remember…

Faith doesn’t get you around trouble, it gets you through it!!

Get the best out of life – don’t let life get the best out of you.

Recognize your Spiritual Teachers in disguise.
Recognize the Lessons that you need to learn from ALL experiences God has granted to you.
Stay focused, count your blessings, and be THANKFUL in EVERY WAY for EVERY THING – both good and bad.

BE THANKFUL GOD GAVE YOU A BODY TO DANCE SALSA WITH !!!!!
BE THANKFUL GOD CREATED SALSA!!!!!!

Now go fill that bucket of ice water…

“A true friend is one who picks up right where you left off, whether it’s been a week, a month, or twenty years.”
